Where to get help
In person
It can help to speak to adults to seek help with bullying – this could be a family member, or a trusted adult from school, a youth/sport/other group.
In confidence to Childline
If you don’t feel comfortable talking to someone you know but you think it’ll help to tell someone in confidence, you can call Childline on 0800 1111, by email or via their 1-2-1 counsellor chat.
Online
You can report anyone you suspect is bullying you on the platform where it took place. Here are some links to the most popular online websites and apps.
Hate crime
If you believe you’ve experienced a hate crime or hate incident, you can report it to Police Scotland by phoning 999 (emergency) and 101 (non-emergency). You can also fill in a Hate Crime Form online via Police Scotland.
